Just use Google Photos
22 november Bought the € 54,99 MobileTrans to migrate Android to iOS. MobileTrans seemed capable of migrating everything I wanted: photos, videos etc. Running the latest OS versions on both devices, it worked like a charm on their trial. But after buying the real deal, it was a big disappointment. First I could not transfer anything. Contacted support and they told me they would escalate a ticket to have a developer look at it. After rebooting the device myself it started working, but non of the videos would show up in the Photos app. Only 8500 of the 13000+ photos had transferred and many photos lost their timestamp. Support asked me to find missing photos. As mentioned: 13k photos, timestamps messed up... I provided all the logs and information they needed to help find the problem. Being a software developer myself I understand the importance of logs and that stuff can sometimes go wrong. But Wondershare came back with a different software program to use to fix the problem of the other software... Based on my experience I can say: MobileTrans is broken. Stay away from it, and just use Google Photos to transfer your stuff. Yes it takes ages, but at least it freaking works. -------------- 23 november In reply to company response: Thanks, but I asked for a refund. I've seen enough. -------------- 6 december I was hoping this would all be done by now, but guess what?! It has been 8 business days (or 10 days) since I was told my money would be refunded and I haven't received my money back yet. Ticket: 1598490 ------------- 6 december Haha so, 1 hour after posting the message above I miraculously received a mail from 2Checkout that they need further refund details. Guess who didn't refund when they said they would? Crooks! And now they want me to send a bank statement with my details, so they can refund. Making your customers jump through hoops much? ------------- 8 dec 2021 So yesterday I received my refund. Happy to conclude this company isn't a total fraud, although I still find it very interesting that I had to post a reminder on TrustPilot to actually set things in motion. I sincerely doubt it takes 2Checkout almost 2 weeks to ask me for my payment info.... I hope someone at a management level reads this and understands stuff has to change. You're selling junk for a premium price while your support department is keeping customers busy until their refund period expires... Are you proud of what you sell?
