Fairly good experience - ordering new Dell Screen assembly
We ordered a new LCD screen for a DELL XPS laptop. The old one had failed - it was producing an error signal and the screen was not working. The part received was correct, well packaged, and it arrived very quickly. Their price was good too. It was easy to install with their fairly good online manuals. They lose one star for communication and helpfulness. I really wasn't sure about the exact part number and so I emailed them, and received no response. I rang twice and received minimal help. I was a bit surprised - if all you do is Dell Parts, surely you could answer a question about an error signal from a Dell computer? Maybe they have a bit of an "assembly line" culture? No thinking, just doing.... Their lack of help meant I had to do more online research to confirm that ordering this part would fix the problem. Fortunately it worked.
