Still waiting on a refund for a faulty item
I have a faulty baby monitor, the display stopped working a few months after purchase( it switched off while I was watching it and will not turn back on). I contacted customer care and was asked to provide a video. On doing so I was told it was a faulty battery part but unfortunately they not longer stock the monitor as it was discontinued. I would need to bring it somewhere local to be fixed, to which Ken faith would provide me 20 euro to do so. This would not be possible as there was no way a local repairer could source parts to fix. I replied stating this, and that I would return the item. I asked for a full refund as they could not provide a repair or replacement, only to have them refuse and try get me to purchase a new monitor at half price. This seems to be a similar experience to others here. Update: This is a Chinese seller, not uk. I purchased the item in November, it wasn't delivered until the middle of December a full month after I purchased it and I contacted them on the 2nd of June. That is 5 and a half months of use, not 7 as they are Claiming. They cannot repair my monitor as it has been discontinued. The warranty they offer is not in-line with the consumer laws in the countries they are selling to.
