I purchased a DJI Mini SE off Amazon…
EDIT: LOTS of problems with ghost error messages and no takeoff after a few flights.... now drone will not take off. Returning to Amazon and shopping for a new brand. With reviews plagued by problems Just Like Mine, this company needs to up it's quality control standards.... I purchased a DJI Mini SE off Amazon second hand. I have flown it a number of times. It seems like the technology behind the product is solid. The DJI Fly app is terrible, and many people have problems with it. It requires a 64-bit phone. They really should do something about this app..... Trim it down, make it work better. That said, if you come here and are one of the people who can't get the Fly app to open on your device there are 3rd party apps that do work on cheaper phones - I won't name them. I think my drone may have horizon drift and an issue with wobbling in no wind like another user here; I need to confirm this and will update or change this review... I am still within my return period. So far the device seems to have a good run time but from a standpoint of everything involved with running this drone after about 2 or 3 hours of flight time on my clock, I'd look hard into all alternatives first before buying one brand or another. It does have good stability in higher winds and can do about 30mph. The features of the drone itself are pretty nice, being able to download videos wirelessly to the phone via the app is great. Flight controls are smooth and easy to learn. Oh, and if you absolutely can't get your phone to even turn on when you get to your location you can still fly this one headless - just pull sticks down and to the middle and then release, take off with left stick once rotors start.
