Worked out easier than I thought …
I kind of thought that doing an update would be more involved. What happened was after going to the manufacturer site, I was steered towards a site that offered the update package at a more reasonable price. Therefore I decided to purchase the update package and was a bit apprehensive for an easy outcome. The process went flawlessly. The only time there was a hiccup was when they sent confirmation of the procedure, it went to my junk folder. Luckily I found it and in one day after turning on my scanner, I noticed the expiration date had changed. I was happy and started to do the updates. I would of course recommend to anyone owning a Autel scanner in need of an update to use this procedure.
