Proceed with caution - I was seriously injured by their lenses
Proceed with caution. I am an experienced cosplayer, used Uniqso for years. Then last October, I used a pair of the Sweety Crazy Vampire Red lenses. I am very careful with hygiene. I use appropriate cleaning solution, soaking and storage. I also use contact appropriate eye drops during the day to prevent my eyes from drying out. I had no pain during the day or discomfort. The evening after I carefully removed them both, I had some soreness but nothing alarming. I used eye drops. The next day I couldn't open my eyes. The contact lenses had caused multiple large scratches across both of my eyes, I had to go to A&E. I was in agony. I had to be put on 3 types of eye treatment and couldn't see for days. I was completely reliant on my partner. As a result, the damage has changed my eyes and I now need glasses. I spent my 30th birthday blind. I've had many good experiences with Uniqso, but this bad one has left me with permanent damage. I did contact them, the best they'd offer is at first a small compensation off my next order (why would I risk that?), then a refund. Fair enough. But they would not guarantee they'll check the stocks of this particular contact lens line so be wary. Won't order ever again. Edit: Regarding Uniqso's response - I don't intend to debate with them, but consider that the lenses originally come in 2 separate sealed bottles and both damaged my eyes. If things were fine as they claim, why did both separately packaged lenses damage my eyes?
