Would Not Recommend to anyone
Like most recent reviews, I have not had a good experience with Alder. I do accept the fact I signed a contract for 5 years but my concern and reason for this review is the fact Alder is unable to help customers. It seems that if you try to cancel your services, they point to the contract you signed instead of working for on a resolution that agrees with both parties. Thus leaving you to two choices, pay off early or fulfill your original contract. What was the final straw is the fact your 5 year contract is set to auto-renew and cannot be turned off unless you call back 15-days before renewal. When I asked the account manager about turning it off now so it doesn't auto-renew on me 2 years later, I was informed she would not do it due to policy. This seems like a suspicious business practices and I warn anyone with a current subscription to keep your eye on when your contract is expired before it renews. Make sure you don't get tricked into another contract auto-mantically without your consent for a new contract when the old one expires if you are planning to leave the service after your original contract is fulfilled.
