Company not reliable and colour not made for certain facial features
They still owe me my toric lenses, which I ordered on the 19th of January 2022. Toric lenses usually require 45 to 60 days of production time. I sent them an email after 71 days to “chase” them for my order. I received the free contact lenses in May but not the torics. Such experience only adds to my sceptism about online shopping. Personally, I find their coloured lenses are more suitable for people born with sharp facial features and/or big eyes, or those who have undergone some cosmetic enhancement surgery of sort. The typical East Asian “looks” cannot carry well their brown-coloured lenses. It is a difficult to judge from just the images uploaded on the website considering that a model’s natural eye colour and camera/studio lightings affect how the final image. In addition, from experience, the description is not wholly reliable even though the graphics of a particular contact lens is described as “natural-looking”. Until early this year, I was wearing coloured lenses from Olens (Spanish real brown) for some years, and I have had many compliments from strangers. They are really natural-looking. I would have continued on wearing them if not for the fact that my vision is getting worse and I need to switch to wearing toric lenses to reduce the strain. I will switch to clear lenses to avoid wasting resources and disappointments.
