SCAM: 1-Year Subscriptions are Fake & G2G Offers ZERO Protection
I purchased a 12-month Spotify Premium subscription on G2G. After only a few months, Spotify completely revoked my Premium access. The reason? The seller used an unauthorized regional pricing exploit, which violates Spotify's terms of service. When I went to contact the seller for a replacement, their profile had conveniently disappeared from the website. I reached out to G2G customer support with all the proof (including the cancellation email from Spotify), but they completely washed their hands of the situation and refused to issue a refund. This is a calculated scam. These sellers keep the accounts active just long enough to bypass the 180-day PayPal buyer protection limit. Once your PayPal protection expires, the service drops, the seller vanishes, and G2G refuses to take any responsibility. G2G allows these scammers to operate and profit on their platform while offering absolutely no buyer protection when a "12-month" digital good gets revoked prematurely. Do not buy long-term accounts or subscriptions here. You will lose your money. Update: Only after seeing this review did they finally reopen my case, but they gave me a ridiculous 48-hour window to respond. I was traveling and replied slightly after their arbitrary deadline, so they immediately closed the case again, claiming it was "too late." Do they really expect people to drop everything and reply within two days to an unexpected email? People have lives and are sometimes unavailable. This just further highlights that G2G is completely unreliable and doesn't actually care about its customers; they only care about saving appearances in public.
