livecards.net

Scammed me $50 code. Ordered 2x $60 psn codes. Send me 2x $10 + 2x $50 codes. 1 $50 code not working cos it’s not legitimate and fake.

I bought 2 PlayStation Store $60 USA psn gift card codes, but instead was given 2 $10 & 2 $50 codes. So instead of just 2 codes was sent 4. I had done some research beforehand so wanted to avoid more than 2. Negative reviews mentioned livecards.net will give you the least valued code but not the most valued code. So I got 2 working $10 codes and just 1 working $50 code. Not 2. Only 1. When I tried messaging through the chat on their website they’d respond at first but then stop. The chat wouldn’t work. So I emailed them. Their response was to go onto a Thailand PlayStation support link. Not a USA one. So I contacted PlayStation support but eventually they told me the code could not be re-issued or replaced and to reach out to the retailer for a refund or replacement. When I copy & pasted the code from live cards.net website to the PlayStation app, it came up with an error saying: “ The voucher code is incorrect or is no longer valid.” Infact it wasn’t never valid because after some research I found out the code was actually incorrect. The research told me scammers hand-make random strings of letters or words like the code I received to trick people into thinking a code was generated by a tool. That code is not legitimate because official PlayStation Network (PSN) voucher codes use a strict 12-digit format of numbers and letters, whereas my code that was given uses letters in a random 4-4-4 pattern with dashes. Real Sony codes never look like random keyboard smashes or gibberish words. The code does not match a valid 12-character alphanumeric PlayStation code format and cannot be redeemed on the PlayStation Store. The code does not match any known active voucher, product key, or order tracking code on Livecards. It appears to be an invalid or mistyped sequence rather than a recognized digital code. Livecards.net website and email response basically told me to ask PlayStation support for help, not to research this issue themselves, and see the code is not legitimate, but then again they most likely knew all along since this is a pattern for them doing this routine over and over with customers. The code is incorrect and would never have worked because PlayStation codes are nothing like the one they sent me. It’s made up by them, not real. If you are reading reviews and thinking about buying from this website please avoid! They are scammers. I’m actually surprised they sent 3 valid codes, instead of none. From what I see in reviews on the internet and Reddit and so forth they do things against the law, against consumer rights, and don’t give refunds or replacements, and if they do make customers go through many hurdles, and make it time consuming thinking customers will just give up and lose their money’s worth. Very very bad company. Shame on you. Plus they charge a fee for your order, and then if you request a refund, they deduct a fee from that too!
