Warranty Fraud complaint filed with AG
At the beginning of summer, I had an AC unit stop cooling within a year, still under warranty. I went through the steps to file a warranty claim, and I sent back their broken unit. I have two emails where they promise to send a replacement within 2-3 weeks. It's now been 3 months, summer is over... no replacement. They've blocked my emails (I get a notification saying their server blocked it), won't answer the phone. I called the HQ randomly selecting from their directory or the operator - every number is a non-working number; so you can never reach a person. I've had to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office in IL for warranty fraud. Hope the $400 unit was worth it to them. I'll never touch their products again; hope the AG is able to make sure they don't keep screwing over customers.
