So DHgate is great but some of their sellers aren’t. It’s like eBay and you have to look at the sellers reviews and stars. First item I bought was a purse from a seller with great stars and reviews. Received what I wanted easily. Second time, I purchased from a seller with bad reviews and didn’t notice. I never got my package. Well they said it was delivered with their tracking number. When I called untied states postal service they said they couldn’t tell exactly the address but it was shipped to another address in town. So that was a scam where the seller used another parcels tracking number and it would show it was delivered to my city with no other info. Most people don’t realize how to get their refund. DHgate will help. Download the app. Go to orders and after you’ve already told the seller what happened, hit dispute. Explain. They have some time to respond. My seller responded with the bogus claim they delivered it with a screen shot of it as proof and offered me a ONE CENT refund. So I then choose to disagree with that with the disagree button. I then asked DHgate to mediate but hitting that button and they wanted proof. Had to be a photo or video. Well even though the sellers lying, I didn’t have a way to prove it since the postal service doesnt put the actual addresses on the tracking numbers. So I typed out in my notes the tracking number and info and the usps phone number explaining they could call and it would prove my address was never on the end of that tracking number. They then put a dispute as ended and it says my refunds been released. But guess what? It says my refund amount is 0.00. So I give myself a rating of 0 stars for not looking at the sellers stars and feedback. DHgate a 0 for not actually making the dispute process possible with proof that isn’t possible to produce and the seller a negative 10 for scamming me. So CHECK your sellers before buying!!!!! It says it clearly. I’m going to continue to dispute this because it’s ridiculous. Was only about 28 dollars but what a waste of time.
