Buyers You have been WARNED and A one-star rating is too high. I ordered a camera, control pad, motion sensor, 2 glass breakers and 6 window sensors about five weeks ago. Ever since I received the products, I have been experiencing issues. Every time I set it; it goes offline so there is no real security. It goes on and offline at least 3 times a day. Yes, it is annoying but at least when I am home, I can reset it. However, when it goes offline while I am away from the house, I am unable to reset it. It even said one time the front door was open, and it wasn’t, which caused a panic as I rushed home to a closed door. I am unable to protect my home and my biggest assets, my children, and grandchildren. In the past five weeks, I have called every day and spoken with several representatives who are either incompetent or have been encouraged and trained to not take ownership of the issues and not provide resolutions. The representatives have lied and provided me with a “standard” script full of BS with no resolve. Even with the history of documented issues and complaints, Alder requests that I stay in this contract and pay for products and services that I am unable to use. As I read the reviews, it is a reoccurring theme … basically, this company is a fraud and should not be allowed to sell any products and/or services. On every negative review listed, their response is even scripted “… call, text or email the compliance department”. Yet, even with doing this, there is no action taken on their part.
