Eight days in the Holy Land
Seeing Israel was an amazing experience. The country, the people, and the culture mean more to me now than all the stories you hear in the news. Our trip went really well considering the large size of our group the the number of things that were packed into our itinerary. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The communication/customer service leading up to our departure was excellent as well! If I were to criticize at all, it would be to say that there was a little too much on the itinerary for a group our size (40 people). We really felt rushed fairly often...like we were running a marathon! The pace did not really afford a chance to soak in the different places we visited. Perhaps when planning a trip for a group this size it might be good to consider that, at times, less is more. If we had visited one less place each day, I feel we would have had a little more time to really appreciate what we were seeing. Other than that, the trip was fantastic, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering a tour of the holy land.
