I have been operating a small Growatt system for two years. The setup via the app and the Shine WiFi-X was straightforward and easy to complete. The switch from WiFi to the LAN-X data logger also worked smoothly. So far, the system has been running flawlessly. My only criticism is the customer support – getting in touch seems nearly impossible, as they simply do not respond to inquiries. I wanted (and still want) to change the password of the LAN data logger, which does not seem to be possible in the user interface. According to the Shine app, this should be possible, but the relevant settings cannot be accessed because the Growatt password (Growattjjjjmmdd) does not work. Unfortunately, there has been no response from support regarding this issue. There is also no reply to improvement suggestions, such as allowing devices to connect via LAN in general. Likewise, there is no response to the question of whether and when the inverters will receive a software update and at what intervals. Despite this, I am still satisfied with Growatt products. The switch from the Growatt 600MT-L to the Neo and Noah is already planned – even though it is disappointing that a LAN connection is not supported.
