Trip.com is a complete rip-off. Do not use them.
I was looking at flights and every other option on the screen was showing fair market prices between $1,130 and $1,159 for the exact same itinerary. But right at the top, Trip.com had their "sponsored" ad pushing the exact same flights for $1,176. They are straight-up banking on people not paying attention and blindly trusting their sponsored banners to overcharge you by nearly $100 for the exact same seat on the exact same plane. Total scam. Skip them and book through anyone else.
