Disappointing Experience with HikVision…
Once again I want to share my bitter experience with HikVision CCTV cameras and their service, which has left me extremely dissatisfied as a customer.
Last year, I made the decision to purchase 6 HikVision CCTV cameras. However, within just 1.5 years of usage, all of them developed a significant issue - a foggy cloud on the camera lenses, rendering them useless with zero visibility of images. This issue seriously compromised the security.
I decided to seek assistance from HikVision for the first time by sending 5 of the cameras in for repair. To my disappointment, one of the camera was returned to me without any repairs completed. I believed this to be an isolated incident and sent it in for a second time, hoping for a resolution.
Unfortunately, my second attempt also ended in disappointment as the camera was once again returned without any improvements.
Adding to my frustration, HikVision refused to replace the camera with a new one, citing that it was beyond the warranty period and therefore ineligible for replacement. This lack of consideration for a customer who invested in their product is both disheartening and unacceptable.
In light of my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering the purchase of CCTV cameras to look elsewhere and not consider HikVision as a viable option. Their cameras have proven to be ineffective, and their customer service has been unreliable and unsatisfactory.

Concerns regarding HikVision’s repair service. A cautionary tale.
Approximately two months ago, I issued a cautionary message to the general public regarding the importance of being vigilant when it comes to HikVision’s CCTV cameras. Today, I am compelled to reiterate this caution due to recent experiences with their repair services, which have left me deeply concerned.
I had initially sent five malfunctioning cameras to HikVision for repairs, as these cameras failed within a mere 1.5 years of purchase. Regrettably, the repair process was far from satisfactory. After a staggering 40-day wait, I received my cameras back. However, to my dismay, one of the cameras remained unserviced and was returned in the same condition in which it was sent. The clouding of moisture on the camera lenses had not been addressed, which raises serious questions about HikVision's commitment to quality service.
I am perplexed by the lack of attention by HikVision. Consequently, I have had to return the unserviced camera to HikVision for a second attempt at repair and am currently awaiting its return. This ongoing ordeal has not only inconvenienced me but also cast doubts on the reliability and professionalism of HikVision's repair services.

Cautionary Review of HikVision Products!!!
I want to share my experience with HikVision products, the CCTV cameras. Unfortunately, I have been one of the most affected customers due to severe moisture-related issues on the lenses that have compromised the functionality of All cameras I purchased within just 1.5 years.
The clouding of camera lenses resulted in captured images being completely obscured and unclear. HikVision has marketed these devices as reliable and durable, but has succumbed in such a short period!
I reached out to HikVision for assistance, hoping for a resolution. However, my experience with their customer service has been disappointing. Instead of addressing the issue effectively, I received vague and generic responses that didn't provide real solutions. To my surprise, HikVision even went so far as to claim that the issue was resolved without any actual solutions.
In light of my experience, I strongly caution the general public when considering HikVision products, especially their CCTV cameras. It's essential for potential customers to be aware of these issues before making a purchase decision.
