Dress measurements are incorrect!!
I initially ordered two dress sizes to get an idea on the fit and whether we liked the quality. We did so I then returned these and ordered the sizes that matched the measurements of my bridesmaids. Having received these and trusted they would be correct as the first were I then unfortunately did not get to see one of my bridesmaids within the two week return time. Once I did we realized that one dress has been made smaller than the measurements indicate on the website and label by 2.5 inches,I even included photos to indicate this. The size 6 and size 10 are only 1.5 inches different. Additionally the size 6 I ordered on two different occasions only a month apart was significantly different in its fit. JJs House did not care that they are the ones that have made it incorrectly and simply refused a return. They offered 15% off my next purchase but this is pretty pointless as how can I guarantee the next dress will be made to the measurements listed. I strongly suggest everybody get out a measuring tape and check for yourselves that what you have received is what you have been sold. This is false advertising and really damaging to the wearers mental health when they're being told they're too big for a size they always wear despite the measurements being correct for their size if it had been sewn properly. Sadly as I already have 3 other dresses that need to match I have no choice but to now try and order multiple sizes and hope at least one of them is correct but proceed with caution if you are buying. Made to order is great for the environment but seems to mean you do not receive a consistent item.
