I started Purple Carrot around 6-8 weeks ago. A friend had given me a sample meal from her order and I loved it so I looked them up to get prices. Honestly at first I thought it was pricey but decided to try it anyways. Now that I’ve had time to see how the orders work within my budget I’ve come to realize that I actually SAVE money by getting 4 or 5 meals per week. I am no longer doing the many “quick runs” into grocery stores. Those always ended up costing me more than I would anticipate. The other advantage is the time I save in planning meals. These are SO easy! The instructions are clear and each meal takes only about 30 minutes from pulling the kit out of the fridge to sitting down to eat. I’m loving the variety and the exposure to new foods and flavors. I also like that I can get gluten free options. Purple Carrot has made my busy life a whole lot simpler (and more delicious).
