Really substandard tick repellant collar!
We are inundated with ticks. I put three large dogs on Bravecto but the two small dogs I was reluctant to do that because they are both very old and infirm. Instead I opted to try the barxbuddy flea and tick collar. In the span of three days one dog had 13 ticks embedded and several crawling on him, while the other one had seven ticks embedded and a couple crawling on her belly. First I thought well maybe it does work and if they didn't have the collars they would have way more ticks on them. In other words I gave the company a pass. The kicker though was when I had one of the dogs sitting on my lap and I literally saw two ticks walking along the collar. Yes on top of it; so much for being a "deterrentt"!Consequently I contacted the company for a refund. I received a response a couple of days after the first email but the client rep did not provide me with an address to return the product. Second and third emails STILL did not address either my complaint or my request for a box office. Rather, their reply was the proverbial "we will credit you $15" in lieu of returning. In other words I need to buy something again. Well $15 doesn't cut it given what I paid for the product and that it shipped from the US to Canada. After reading all the negative reviews I have decided just to swallow this and not even bother packaging up and paying the shipping. They are the absolute worst. I believe in homeopathy but I think these guys are really bad, bordering on scam.
