As a disabled veteran with PTSD from my honorable service; I was running out of solutions for my poor quality of life. Joyous seems to me to be a company that is built around the client. Mileage may vary but I think people have to set their expectations a little bit. When else in history have we had this level of convenience that you can get Ketamine mailed to your door at a relatively low price point (not to mention the clinical support, resources etc)? Big pharma has known for some time now that K can confer therapeutic benefits to those suffering from mental illnesses. Joyous has “skin in the game” in the sense that they’re providing K in a novel market with unknown potential greater legal liabilities for doing so. They see that market opportunity as advantageous for their bottom line obviously but there are plenty of other, more boring ways to make more money in America. But it is clear to me that’s not what ultimately drives the purpose of the company. A client’s end user experience imo is largely determined by the executive team of the business they buy from. My experience with Joyous gives me the impression that Joyous cares about helping people, and cares about the wellbeing and care that is being provided to the client. Whenever I’ve had an issue, someone with a heartbeat and a conscience reaches out. 10/10 would recommend.
