I paid a small advertised one-time fee (approximately $0.99) for an online IQ/personality test on Innerly’s website. Nothing at the time of purchase clearly disclosed that this would enroll me in a recurring subscription. Several days later, I was charged approximately $39.99 without my knowledge or consent. I did not authorize this recurring charge, and the company did not send any notification or receipt before billing me.
