Beware if you go there for a peaceful Sunday lunch if the TV is on, take your ear defenders with you!!
My friend and I went to The Tiger Moth for Sunday lunch. We were so looking forward to it because my friend has been virtually housebound after a lengthy stay in hospital, so this was to be a treat for her. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly young woman who eventually served us our meals, which were delicious! Unfortunately how experience was spoiled by an extremely loud football match! I understand you offer this in your pubs and I’m not against people enjoying themselves, but the diners around us were having to shout across the tables to have a conversation while eating! Do diners not have any rights to a peaceful Sunday lunch? Considering this was my friend’s first lunch out in ages I was extremely disappointed at the noise. I can’t fault the staff or the delicious food, but does the TV really need to be so loud thus spoiling others enjoyment??
