Buyer beware
Buyer beware - They will send you stale and opened food items and if you don't request a refund within 7 days you might get a credit. I ordered some Partake individual cookies for my son because he usually likes them (he's 7). I tried to get him to eat them last night because I noticed we hadn't gone through more than one bag and that's when it was discovered that the packages were all barely sealed or were wide open and my husband said they are all stale. On top of this I had also ordered Valentine Choco Yums for my son's Valentine's party. I found out they were expired the day before his party which was too late to report the issue. They were also stale and discolored but I didn't think to report them at the time. I like the theory but with lack of quality control and only a 7 day reporting window it's too risky to continue to buy from them. Especially when I've never had to be the quality control person for orders or groceries in the past. I don't have the capacity to add one more thing to my plate and it's not worth saving a couple of dollars on things I don't buy often. Customer service was quick to reply but they just quote their 7 day return policy so I feel like I'm the one who messed up. I do appreciate they offered a credit but the approach they took felt icky. If the cookies arrived in edible condition they would not have sat in my pantry uneaten for weeks. Between the 7 and 17 year old they would have cleaned them out in a few days. None of my other food items have had issues. I've also had potatoes living in this same pantry for months and they are fine.
