Misleading information (or lack of it)
Misleading information (or lack of it). I bought a Graro frame. Took over 4 weeks to arrive, but it finally got here. The paint was great and the frame seems well made. The kit came with headset bearings, but when I tried to put the bike together there were two important pieces missing: the top cap and a pressure ring for the headset. You cannot build a bike without those. I contacted Ican and they said that since I didn’t buy the handlebar from them the part was not included and that I should contact my handlebar manufacturer. Took the frame to two different shops and they said the part is proprietary and cannot be purchased elsewhere. We are taking about two pieces that cost less than $5. I contacted Ican again to ask them to seel the parts to me and they refused. The only way I could get the parts is if I bought the handlebar from them. So, I had to pay $179 more for a stem and handlebar just so I could get the $5 pieces. They should plainly say that the part does not come with it. Or, better yet, SELL THE PART! Also, the info on the website says this frame takes a T47 Bottom bracket, but it does not specify which one. I would not do business with them again.
