Deluded and unprofessional
This was my first time ordering from Colorful Critters; I purchased a $5 notebook as a birthday gift for my friend. They canceled my order with no explanation. When I contacted them, they explained that they couldn’t complete the order due to “fraud”. I am very supportive of businesses doing proactive fraud detection; however, I am disappointed that this company did not make any attempt to verify my information before canceling, did not provide a reason for canceling, and declined to explain what part of my order was flagged as fraudulent when I inquired. I wanted to update my review with the response I did receive and allow Colorful Critters to speak for themselves: “Hi "Andrea", Please stop emailing us. We will not explain our fraud detection -- that kind of defeats the purpose as we would just be making it easier to "beat" the system we have in place. We are tired of the orders that you have been making under various email addresses. Please move on and take order elsewhere. Thank you for the review as well. From our perspective, it is rather ironic. Cheers.“ They also flagged this review as containing “harmful or illegal content.” I am not sure what concerns me more: the delusion that I’ve been placing multiple fraudulent orders or that they attempt to hide critical, but entirely truthful, reviews from the public.
