Avoid buying online. Awful customer service via AI chat bot. Very unhelpful.
Bought some shorts/T-shirt online. Account is linked to an old address, I wasn't given a prompt regarding the delivery address before completing the purchase so items are now being dispatched to this old address, 150 miles away. I accept some fault, clearly however, a prompt to review the address might have been useful. Trying to rectify this with customer services is a joke. Online chat function is terrible. Transferred to Suzi the chat bot then to a "real" person who's responses where scripted and formulaic and felt like an AI. No nuiance and totally unhelpful, repeatedly stating I would need to contact again once I have a tracking number. As the contract for delivery is between sports direct and the courier this is sports direct responsibilty to rectify. Very unhelpful. If this is the future of customer services then god help us. Don't buy online, just go the store if you need to use them would be my advice, at least you'll find actual people.
