Very disappointed regarding huge import tax to Canada
Very disappointed regarding delivery. I was trying to send one T-shirt gift to a friend in Canada and assumed that I had paid the full cost of delivery when I made payment. Days later I received a demand for $27 Canadian as import tax - more than the cost of the T-shirt. Obviously, had this huge addition been tagged at point of payment, I would have dropped the order. Grimfrost boast of ability to send items worldwide - anyone can do that. In 2025 I sent two T-shirts and a picture frame to the same address in Canada, myself, from the Post Office in UK and there was no duty payable so the demand for any import tax at all was a shock. Hiding 'possible' duty to pay in Canada inside a lengthy faq text is not sufficiently. Import duty needs to be indicated at point of payment with, preferably, a link to very high rates to be expected regarding Canada.
