Maria is an angel
Maria is an angel. My experience in Medellín was incredible. It was my first solo travel trip and Maria (the community leader from Medellín) did absolutely EVERYTHING to make each and every one of us feel comfortable, happy and fulfilled. Having someone in the city for recommendations, support, and fun made me feel like I could really live like a local. My apartment was in the perfect location, the SIM card they provided worked the second I set it up and any bump along the road, Maria was there to help solve it. I really could make the experience what I wanted, while being a part of a larger community.
