Data Recovery Software didn't fulfill its purpose.
I purchased a product called "EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional" in order to recover specific files. The software wasn't able to save those correctly, they were too damaged to work. For that reason I contacted the support, asking for a refund, as the product didn't fulfill its intended role. I was told the fault was entirely my own, as the software won't work for an SSD (which wasn't explained on the website). After a few back and forth emails, I was able to negotiate a half refund. Although according to the company's policy, I should qualify for a full refund. Case ID #1337451
