Amazing Spiral Mixer
I’ve had my KYS Pro Baker 7 spiral mixer for a year and love it. I’ve used Kitchen Aid mixers my entire life, mainly for pizza dough every week, and bagels a few times a year. This KYS mixer is a beast – It’s super powerful, and even more super quiet; My wife doesn’t even realize I’m mixing with it even though she’s five feet away. It’s a variable speed mixer but I rarely go much higher than the lowest speed. I make pizza dough starting with a Biga and this machine just plows through it on low speed – I would say my mix/knead time is 7-8 minutes versus 12-15 in a standard mixer. When I hear the air bubbles popping, I know my dough is done. I’ve had no issues with my mixer, and if you have any questions regarding new products, their customer service is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend the KYS mixers for anyone that’s looking to buy a spiral.
