Mild Woes of a Foreigner in Malaysia
As a foreigner in Malaysia, I had used my US card to pay via Paypal, for some reason this caused me to get suspected and had to verify by providing a SELFIE PHOTO of holding an official document along with a handwritten note to SEAGM with today's date, thrice. It's not the biggest of deals, but I would've preferred to be less inconvenienced into having to provide an official document to a variety topup site, I just wanted to buy video games.. At least, I could say that it's the only site that allowed this kind of purchase, competitors like Offgamers didn't accept my US card, nor Steam itself after having switched its region to Malaysia.
