FAKE SILK
FAKE SILK Bought a set from a makers market in Chicago. Was told that all items were 100% silk. A few days later when wearing them I noticed a loose thread. I like to burn these so they don't continue to unravel and the thread melted like plastic. This made me suspicious so I cut a piece of extra fabric from inside the pocket for a burn test and sure enough it melted like plastic. The tag and the website claim to be 100% silk which is clearly a lie.
