Scam - stay away from it
This company is a scam. They try to persuade you with polished visuals, influencer marketing, paid-for reviews and flash “discounts”, but once you actually buy one of their products, it’ll quickly become clear that there’s no substance or transparency to any of their operations & no respect for your money or time. I bought a chair on the 16th of April from the website. A few minutes after I received the purchase confirmation email, I received another email saying that the color I chose (charcoal) was out of stock and it would only be delivered after April 30th. They offered the blue color instead if I wanted quicker shipping, which I refused. April 30th came and went, radio silence from Ergotune. I reach out via email asking for a status update or a tracking code, and all I got was “we’re looking into it” type non-answers. A week after that, still not any substantial information on my delivery. I reach out again, emphasising I’d be requesting a chargeback if I was not provided a tracking code. A few hours later I receive a long-winded email that came off like a ChatGPT apology essay about “supply chain issues” in regards to the chair, and even the “free gifts”, which is just laughable. They suggested I should receive a tracking code no later than May 11th. I have already requested a chargeback and I hope they follow through with it, otherwise this is an actual scam that should be legally pursued. Don’t be fooled - it’s clear that their strategy is to hook you with the smoke & mirrors marketing but when you actually look past that there’s nothing but an overpriced, cheap product that never ships.
