One of the most significant things about this trip were the connections with the French people.
One of the most significant things that made this trip great was all of Christy's connections with so many "acceuillants" (extraordinarily hospitable) French people who welcomed us into their homes and places of work. Also, I know a lot about French history, arts and culture, but Christy never scolded me--or almost never!--for interjecting my "additions." She's a very tactful, as well as knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed myself immensely all during the tour.
