Worth the wait
Did I get what I wanted? Yes. An Opus 88 with a custom nib and the nib (a broad Architect) is amazing: Smooth and good line variation, in case I want to sketch with it - the nibsmith's work is to be recommended. The pen was lovingly packaged with ribbons and what not - totally appropriate for the fountain pen enthusiast and come on - every customer WANTS to be pampered with a bit of visual knick-knacks. The total waiting time was a bit over a month; - the pen was not in stock - the nibsmith came down with an ailment In other words: Life happened, which most of us are accustomed to. In the meantime, client service with the boss himself was excellent, so I always knew about the when and whats of my future pen. In the end, I am a happy customer with a lovely new fountain pen.
