Data collection / sharing - beware
The company initially asks for the info about your car then follows up immediately with a phone call or text asking for more details on your car. Normal. Not normal and a waste of time is when after sending all the info they come back and say sorry your car is too new based on the year of it WHICH WAS THE VERY FIRST THING YOU SEND WHEN YOU INITIALLY CONTACT THEM. When I provided this feedback to the company the respondant was particularly sarcastic with his response when they basically said ok well here’s some feedback for you, read the message entirely and check our terms of service. I didn’t provide the feedback for any other reason than to give them some candid feedback so they can fine tune their business model and stop wasting people’s time but based on their response and the subsequent link to their partner it became clear that they were really interested in getting more data from me so they could get referrals by sharing my info with their partner without my consent. Since they didn’t want to take the feedback directly — let me share it here for everyone else to see so maybe they’ll get it next time. When your provided private feedback — treat it as a gift. Beware….
