A fight to get my money back.
Purchased a new tripod for an international trip to Peru. Their website claimed the item would arrive in 2-7 days if shipped from their US warehouse or in 10-12 days if not currently in supply there. We were leaving in 14 so I knew it would be close, but as reliable as shipping is these days I felt confident it would arrive. Unfortunately it wasn’t available in the US warehouse and they don’t ship UPS. The item was shipped to the US via a Chinese shipping company which had it sitting in Hong Kong for 4 days before leaving the country. Needless to say it did not arrive on time. When we returned home I started the return process…what a headache. They wouldn’t provide a shipping label but would reimburse me if it was under $20. Once they received the item at their warehouse they would initiate my refund (seemed fair). 22 days after they received the item I still had not been reimbursed. I had to send several emails before they gave me my money back. But they still didn’t pay me for the shipping. Now they are asking for my bank account information in order to reimburse the $18 shipping. Don’t trust this company!
