An unforgettable journey through Western Sichuan
We had a wonderful and unforgettable trip through Western Sichuan with Eastogo. Serena was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, patiently working with us to tailor the itinerary to our interests. The absolute highlight was Tagong, especially our time with the local guide and the nomadic family. These experiences felt genuinely authentic and gave us a real opportunity to learn about Tibetan culture and everyday life. Eastogo's support during the trip was excellent. They always responded very quickly and were particularly helpful when I became severely unwell and we needed to adapt our plans. A special mention also goes to our driver, Wang, who was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the journey. There were a few things that could be improved: some driving-time estimates were quite optimistic, and we were less impressed by the stops and accommodation in Xinduqiao and the Mount Siguniang area. Overall, Eastogo gave us access to places and experiences that would have been very difficult to organise independently. Their flexibility, local knowledge and excellent support made this a very special journey, and we would happily recommend them to anyone wanting to explore the less-visited parts of Western Sichuan.
