Good Luck With Delivery
Things were great at first, but it's been a downward spiral for several weeks. Produce spoils within two days of delivery and if you don't use any type salad within the first 48 hours it will be wilted. Now let's get to the delivery service. In Seattle, Jitsu is the delivery provider and it is hands down the worst service I have ever encountered. One time one of the delivery drivers started yelling at the apartment concierge because he simply asked him to deliver the food to the apartments directly. The delivery guy threw a 12 year type tantrum and threatened to leave with the delivery just because he was told to do exactly what the instructions stated. Hungry Root customer service simply said they would note on my account that the items should be delivered directly to the apartment. But that didn't solve the grossly unprofessional conduct of the delivery company who already refused to deliver to the apartment as the instructions indicated. Next, delivery times will change and Hungry Root refuses to do anything about it. On the app and website, deliveries are "guaranteed" by 8p. When my delivery was made after 8p I contacted customer service and they changed their in writing guarantee and said it's now by 9p. Clearly that was not what was guaranteed, but fine. So the very next week, the delivery was made at 9:05p. Again, even if it's now 9p (which is silly because who eats after 7p) it's late once again. Hungry Root flat out refuses to do anything to fix the delivery problem and that is where they lost me as a customer.
