I had a terrible video interview…
I had a terrible video interview experience with a recruiter from Games Workshop UK. She was behaving smug and condescending throughout the entire interview, not paying attention, staring into space, and asking redundant and inane questions just by rewording them and expecting a new answer, whereby the only correct answer was "customer service experience," which was mentioned multiple times prior by myself ad-nauseum with given examples. She had no concept of how a business is managed, went by the script, was just listening for keywords, and didn't actually bother to understand what was being said to her. Apparently she surmised that people are there to learn, paint and go home; "it's fine if someone doesn't buy a product and goes home" is a bizarre thought process for an offered retail sales job, so she doesn't see any value in personality or good salesmanship to draw folks in. Maybe take her own advice, make sure the interviewing "experience" is better, and improve upon her social skills. Utter waste of my time and I will have no further interaction with this company or its staff.
