ICAN AERO 52: Stiff, fast and light wheels for great price
Did 1 first 90km ride on them, yesterday and the wheels are aero, stiff and lightweight! They cut through wind beautifully and are very stiff and responsive when accelerating and steering through corners. I feel very confident, descending with them. Climbing felt responsive, as well as light and stiff. The free hub is nice and mellow sounding, which I like. The only thing I wished for was white decals, to complement my bike a bit more. The branding is nicely implemented in the rim. It is silver colored, but in most light conditions it looks like gold. It is starting to grow on me, it has a nice, luxurious appearance. Tubeless setup is a breeze. I could pop the tires on the rim with my bare hands. Mounting the beats of the tire in the rim could be done with just some soapy water on the beat and a track pump (no booster or compressor needed). I owned ICAN wheels before (FL40), which I liked, but which I sold with my old bike and I would buy them again. They are solid, light and stiff and customer service is top notch and very friendly! The wheels were shipped from European warehouse in Germany (I'm in The Netherlands) and they took just two days to deliver! :)
