This is the buggiest slowest app I have every used in my life in 20 years of computer use. Absolutely insane anytime im in chrome and if a page is freezing or not loading i Almost immediately, you know to disable Speechify and then try again, and about nine out of ten times the page will start loading again. For example, Amazon pages or AliExpress pages—any page with more than a couple of scrolls of data—you’re going to absolutely freeze it or make it slog with this app turned on. I don’t know how they were so bad at creating this. It seems like a 13‑year‑old with a Codex subscription made this entire app. Because it’s so poorly optimized, it crashes almost everything you touch. And don’t get me started on the app itself. It freezes half the time when speaking; once in a while it just doesn’t start up and you have to restart it. Just so many issues—it’s absolutely insane how people are still using this thing.
