Pricing discrepancy and shipping status (???)
Bought a Dooku saber at Tsubasacon and was charged $425. Got home and checked their website to find out it's normally $319.99 and is on sale for $249.99. Straight up scam, always cross-reference their prices when you find them being sold in person. UPDATE: This purchase was made with my roommate. I was provided screenshot evidence by them showing the differentiations in price. I waited 24 hours after being provided with the screenshots before posting my review, and they also received an email in response to this review containing the text contents of DX Saber's reply to my review, as it was their information used when the purchase was made. I asked them for additional information regarding whether or not this was indeed the case/what was the exact product purchased as it shows in the email, they stopped responding. I'm updating this to reflect a 5 star review until I hear otherwise, and I conditionally apologize for the potentially false information posted originally. UPDATE 2: Hunter was planning on contacting Paul yesterday, but apparently he fell asleep. They confirmed that they were mistaken in the information they provided to me and that "The price listed on website is just the hilt, no saber." I am also happy with the saber I purchased for myself. It just goes to show that you should always do your own homework before posting a public review online. UPDATE 3: It has now been almost a full month and Hunter has still not received any tracking information. It's too soon to say whether this is an issue with their customer service or handling of parcels or even retaliation to the initial review. They reached out for response and was advised they'd have tracking within 24-48 hours or would schedule a refund. I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, but for now we're back in a holding pattern to see whether or not this package will ever actually have any proof of having been shipped.
