Poor platform, low-paying projects, and frustrating payment system
Workana has been one of the worst freelance platforms I have used. The platform does not properly filter projects or clients, and many job postings are vague or unrealistic. In many cases, clients do not even know what they need or what they are asking for. As a freelancer, you can spend hours sending hundreds of proposals and most clients never reply. The payment rates are extremely low, making it very difficult to earn a fair income for professional work. The worst part is the payment system through Payoneer. Workana does not clearly warn users that you need at least $500 available before withdrawing funds, withdrawals are limited to once per month, and the fees are excessive. Overall, I would not recommend this platform to freelancers who genuinely need stable income opportunities. It feels exploitative and poorly managed.
