This was our first time using the bollard sleeve. We always prime and paint the bollards, but that just creates constant maintenance. The price to replace the sleeve once it wears out is minimal when compared to cleaning failing paint on old bollard (by sand blasting/wire wheel or brush/water blasting) cleaning up debris, then protecting the area to finish the painting portion of the job is very labor intensive if you are involved in the ongoing maintenance.
