Just got my new Plakton slides... not worth returning. ugh.
Just got my new Plakton slides. Reviews seemed solid and thought they would be comparable to Birks. Not so. The toe ridge is ineffective compared to Birks. The soft pad in the heel is meh and not worth it. When trying to return, it was about $30. Ugh. The website appeared to indicate returns would be in the US and maybe $5-10... not so. Should have read the fine print a bit more, but the fact that the site implied easy and minimal cost returns... was misleading IMHO. So... not worth returning. Just know that returning from the US to the UK is NOT CHEAP. Make sure you want the product, 'cause if its less than $50, you'll probably not want to mess with returning.
