Very bad electronics or swindle ?
3 years ago I bought a Nanoleaf shapes hexagone pack. They have been working fine until 6 months ago. I found out that the controller broke, and it seems to be a recurring problem as many other customers have experienced the same issue. This kind of electronics is not supposed to fail (unlike a light bulb or phone battery that is a consumable). To me it is either that their electronics was poorly designed or that they intentionally make it break. In either cases it is clearly not worth the +100$ you’re paying for this. At the beginning they started to offer free replacement controllers, but that’s not the case anymore, they are just selling them, my warranty has expired anyway. I am never buying Nanoleaf again. I am going to throw the working panels in the trash can. I’d rather have no decorating light than being swindled (I will not buy a controller every two years).
