Pros and cons of buying direct from Boox
I bought a Go 10.3 direct from Boox EU shop, which meant I received a bundled cover and extra marker tips/nibs versus buying via Amazon, which is more expensive and without the bundled items. I was a bit disappointed with the screen being darker than expected (and bearing in mind there's no frontlight), so I initiated a return - the customer service team were responsive and sent me a return label but with the caveat that I'd be charged a restocking fee and postage charges both ways, to be deducted from my refund, working out at around £40. After pondering it, I decided to keep the Go 10.3, as the natural light experience (and closeness of the eink to the surface) provides a really nice analogue / digital experience; once I'd got over my initial disappointment at the greyness of it! If you're thinking you may need to return the device (e.g. if you're unfamilar with the fundamental pros and cons of eink) then 100% buy from Amazon due to their exceptionally good returns policy. The Go 10.3 is radically cheaper than the alternatives and the bundle from Boox makes for great value, as long as you're nigh on certain you won't need to return it!
