Not Worth the Upfront Cost
I had high hopes for Sell My Timeshare Now, but unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and unproductive. After paying a hefty upfront fee, I received little to no communication from their team and no legitimate offers. To be fair, SMTN did do everything stated in the contract. However, the original sales price they suggested for my timeshare was completely out of touch with reality. I increased the price by $5,000—not because they recommended it, but because I was trying to test the market. Over the next 12 months, I had to reduce it substantially just to try and attract any interest—still, nothing came of it. The customer service was polite at first, but once they had my money, it became nearly impossible to get updates or meaningful support. I felt like I was constantly chasing them for information. It was disheartening to see how generic the listing was—it completely overlooked the special features that made my timeshare meaningful to me. It felt like they didn’t care enough to truly represent what I was trying to sell. It feels more like a listing service than an actual sales platform. If you're looking to sell your timeshare, I’d recommend exploring other options that don’t require upfront payments and offer more transparency.
